Bibicha takes a 40-day vow of silence to overcome an unspecified crisis. She withdraws to the mountain village where her grandmother Bibi Saodat lives with her adopted granddaughter Sharifa. The remote location offers Bibicha the chance to find herself by facing the memories of her grandmother and pressure exerted by her aunt. In silent observation, she reflects on three generations of women without men, as well as multiple layers of the past that live on in the present.
