More than 30 years after his passing, Andrey Tarkovsky Jr. dares to tackle his father’s legacy with the aid of rare archival footage and sound recordings. The resulting documentary is a biographical and philosophical film in which Tarkovsky himself, among other figures, speaks at length about his relationship to art, religion, family and freedom.
