Police officer Korenev (“the Fox”) ends up in jail after he displays too much of his own initiative in the fight against crime. He manages to escape and return to his hometown, where by setting various gangs against each other he resumes his one-man crusade against organised crime and his personal foe Šaman… Designated the box-office hit of the year, the film was followed by the equally successful ANTIKILLER 2, and the third instalment is in preparation.
