This film deals with women victimised by systematic sexual violence during the Croatian War of the early 1990s who are now seeking to heal. A five-member team operating under the patronage of an NGO has developed an elaborate psychotherapeutic program. 25 years after war's end, the program participants, women in their mid-to-late 50s, are accompanied by the camera for three years as they collectively confront their traumatic pasts. With great care and respectful intimacy, the film tells of four individual fates and of a collective path to healing that is made possible by the therapeutic process, in spite of conflicts within the group.
