CINEMA ALMANAC. SIX SHORT FILMS BY RADU JUDE

In 2020, goEast devoted its Portrait section to Radu Jude. Since then, he has directed two fiction features, a feature-length documentary and won the Berlinale's Golden Bear. His short film THE MARSHAL’S TWO EXECUTIONS (2018), featuring an archival parallel montage, and his unorthodox essay film CRIME & PUNISHMENT (2019) as well as his most recent short films have all now been collected in an "almanac". His historical but zeitgeisty film THE POTEMKINISTS (2022) and PLASTIC SEMIOTIC (2021), a philosophical film about humanity in a toy universe, are also among the films included here.
