SAILING TO PARADISE
Highlights
After the death of his parents Žak packs his backpack and heads out for a sailing trip. Opposites collide when the quiet student runs into effervescent Lučka on his way to the sea. Žak isn’t able to resist her contagious lust for life for very long. During their trip together it quickly becomes clear that Lučka is also hiding a painful past behind her radiant smile. This romantic comedy approaches loss, grief and the possibility of a new start with a humorous lightness. The enchanting female lead Ajda Smrekar was named actress of the year by the Slovenian culture magazine STOP and the film walked away with the Audience Prize at the Slovenian Film Festival in Portorož.
