Russia nowadays: The 12-year old Mischka who lives in a small village near a big river enjoys the summer with his friends. They go swimming, do handicraft work and look out for little adventures. When the coeval and pretty Katja moves in the neighborhood, Mischka falls for her head over heels. With the arrival of teenager Jegor, Mischka’s and Katja’s relationship suddenly changes and the 12-year old has to deal with unknown feeling and his first lover’s grief. In the end nothing remains the same … A sensitive story about first love, adolescence and fantasy.
