Sarajevo is full of the joys of spring, but Mirza, an orphaned thirteen-year-old who is fanatical about basketball, finds himself being ignored by the older players. He feels rejected, and starts running errands for Almir, the local drug-dealer. Dispatched on three jobs one day, he meets a beautiful woman at the airport. This encounter makes him painfully aware of his despicable role – but equally of the possibility of changing things for the better.
