Lyonya’s boss at the electronics factory is a super cool guy (almost as cool as Chuck Norris) who spends his days preening around his workplace. Lyonya does his best to mimic everything his boss does to a T. Alas, one day the factory is shut down without warning and the young apprentice loses both his job and his role model in one fell swoop. He is forced to look for work – no simple matter in his hometown, a Russian village on the Volga. In Khlebnikov’s second feature, every single scene will leave you grinning while unforgettable shots take you along to a summer where everything was so complicated and yet somehow seemingly lighter than air.
