Even remote villages have experienced the chilling effects of Covid-19 – still, that hasn't stopped small-time money launderers, booze smugglers or fraudsters from trying to get one over on the law. But corrupt police man Selkeu doesn't seem able (or willing?) to stand in their way. He's got other plans, bigger dreams: namely, to move to the big city with his buddy and seek fame and glory with his "music project".
HERD IMMUNITY rises above with its numerous film noir references, absurd situational comedy and excellent visual language, while almost casually providing insightful commentary on the pandemic and associated existential questions.
