In her video work, artist Katarzyna Perlak incorporates folkloric elements from the Eastern Carpathians, in her native Poland. In collaboration with vocalists from Lublin and the Lemko region, she tests the boundaries of this cultural heritage, as traditional love songs are modified to feature queer lyrics. Perlak is also responsible for the video's wonderful costume design.
