The dusty old red teddy bear Kuky is 6-year-old Ondra’s favourite cuddly toy. Because Ondra is asthmatic, his mother throws Kuky away. Kuky subsequently comes to life only to find himself on a garbage heap. He flees into the woods, where he meets Herrgott, a grim watchman. Despite initial communication problems the two of them team up and embark on a thrilling journey.
