Director Oktay Namazov lives and studies in Budapest. Shortly before returning to Azerbaijan, he visits his ex-roommate Rashadat, who spent three years in jail as a political prisoner back in their home country. Over the course of their conversations with Oktay, Rashadat’s harrowing story, his personal and family sacrifices are gradually revealed. A simple return from exile, to family, friends and a normal life, seems out of the question.
