At a highway rest stop in a snowy Latvian wasteland, parallel realities collide. Four bored boys, regulars, kill time over French fries, film and cola, while a Russian-speaking lady, a long-distance lorry driver, is happy to down a bowl of hot soup and find some soap in the men's bathroom. Only a colourfully lit, rather tiny Ferris wheel manages to break the monotony. None of the guests can resist the iridescent spectacle.
