PASTORAL

A group of young musicians arrive in a Georgian village, hoping to benefit from the fresh air and do some rehearsing away from hectic city life. The members of the small chamber orchestra spend the rain-swept days working on classical pieces and talking to a dreamy girl. However, “pastoral” is hardly the term for the emerging conflict between, on the one hand, the glorious countryside, the prevailing moral codex, and the beauty of the music, and, on the other hand, the egoistic behaviour of the musicians.
