POLICE, ADJECTIVE
Signature
A group of youngsters were spotted smoking hashish, and now the police want to convict them of drug-peddling, too. Cristi, the policeman in charge of the case, opposes the plan. He not only lacks sufficient evidence for an arrest, he’s also heard that the government is about to ease Romania’s narcotics laws. Aware that a conviction would ruin the youngsters’ prospects, Cristi decides to wait, despite the pressure from his boss. The policeman is unwilling to discuss the matter with his wife Anca, and finds his older colleague Nelu offers little help. Does every image inevitably turn into a symbol? And what is the true definition of conscientiousness?
