REMOTE ACCESS

They meet on a telephone-sexline: Sergej, who is suffering from a child-hood trauma, and Zhenja, who works for the erotic phone-service and suffers from her hysteric mother’s behaviour towards her. Via phone, an intensive relationship of increasing intimacy develops between the two, who are desperately seeking for love but do not want to meet: too great is their fear of being disappointed. When they finally arrange a meeting, an unexpected catastrophe ensues. This unusual film about the frailty of emotions presents small jigsaw pieces from the lives of three people – leaving it to the audience to put them together.
