Documentary about the controversial media-circus and the pros and cons of the meeting between World Bank and International Monetary Fund in September 2000 in Prague. It centers on the actions of Prague’s city council, the police and the demonstrators – many of whom World Bank and Monetary Fund opponents – but also gives time to the advocates. For his diploma film, Martin Mareček took his camera right into the turbulent conflict, but also uses aerial views from police-helicopters. We also get to know some people on the outskirts of this conflict – like the street-vendor who unsuccessfully tries to sell refreshments and sleeping-bags to the demonstrators at Strahov-stadium.
