SUPERUNIT

Specials

Le Corbusier’s “Housing Unit” is the idea behind the gigantic “Superjednostka” building in Katowice, which contains more than 700 apartments. The poetic camera work explores living rooms, subterranean parking garages and endlessly long corridors as well as elevator shafts and the house’s vast system of pipes. The film’s stars are the building’s occasionally quirky residents, who have decorated their abodes in their own very singular styles. SUPERUNIT flirts with an unreal atmosphere and delivers impressive visuals.
