What’s the best course of action when your country’s in crisis and you’re not only stuck in a two-bit town but out of a job? Karel, Tomaś, Vinco and Milan decide to buy a delivery van and strike down the path of entrepreneurship. Things get off to a good start. But then somebody steals their van, and it dawns on the four hopefuls that their problems are just beginning… Martin Šulik draws a true-to-life portrait of people caught in the crossfire between dreams of a better life and the unrelentingly grim reality. The escape route chosen by the resourceful protagonists is depicted with a healthy dose of humour that makes the film a Czech version of THE FULL MONTY.
