Dr. Doleček, who gained notoriety on Czech television for his bizarre dieting tips, denies that one of the worst war crimes to take place in Europe since the end of the Second World War ever happened: the massacre at Srebrenica. As an advocate of the Serbian nationalist worldview and good friend of General Ratko Mladić, he has been honoured with the highest distinction of the Orthodox Church, which “otherwise only Putin and Medvedev have received”. As she travels along with him to the site of the genocide, the young director confronts the 89-year-old man with the facticity of the events that unfolded there.
