The title of the student film stems from a late-medieval song probably sung for the dead. The headline introducing the first part gives the whole verse: “The soul left the body and flew over a green meadow.” In the second and third parts – “5 cm” and “15 cm above the ground” – the meditative impressions are ironically fractured – a child plays in a church, a smiling priest drives a tractor. The higher the soul flies, the more human become the images.
