The tower was a landmark in the town of Ksuisi. After the Russian-Georgian Five-Day War in 2008, it was separated from the village. The residents were moved to settlements for internally displaced persons and are now only able to observe their village from the top of the tower. The film was created for the project “08.08.08.”, which aims to collect stories of those who experienced the war.
