Ioana Mischie’s THE WETLAND is a cinematic VR world archiving the customs and bitter-sweet archaic stories of the most remote villages of the Romanian Danube delta, where inhabitants are fighting against all odds to conserve the wilderness, humanness and profoundness of the marshlands.
This project is part of the OPEN FRAME AWARD exhibition, shown at DFF Frankfurt and Museum Wiesbaden.
