This VR performance is based on the stories of the “Kalevala” - a mythological epos from Finnish-Karelian folklore. The project sends viewers on a fantasy trip into mysterious worlds, featuring Kalevala heroes, the tales of an ancient culture and engrossing atmospheres conjured by modern sound and vision technology, such as 360° 3D video, volumetric capture and interactive story design.
This project is part of the OPEN FRAME AWARD exhibition, shown at DFF Frankfurt and Museum Wiesbaden.
