THREE

Symposium

A story of multiple and horrific experiences of World War II in Yugoslavia, told through the eyes of the protagonist Miloš, who is confronted by death on three occasions at the beginning, middle and end of the war. The vignettes, which show him as a royal soldier and potential victim of German soldiers, then as an executor and as a partisan, express the chaos and split reality of wartime. Three is also a classic of anti-war cinema, interwoven with poetic landscape shots and a fascinating score.
