Tito rises again and takes a stroll through the city of Belgrade to determine what happened to his beautiful country and its upright young pioneers. What results is a canny assessment of the horrors of the Yugoslav Wars in the 1990s, catalogued in real time, as seen by those directly affected. Žilnik calls this work a happening more than a film, and so one can also situate it in the tradition of performance art and its documentation. Rarely has a video camera been used more effectively as a scalpel to peel back the layers of a society.
