TO GROW UP WITH MUSIC
Specials
Twelve-year-old Brigitta and ten-year-old Tünde Makó live with their parents and two older sisters in Budapest’s VI. District. Like their father and grandfather, both girls have been playing the violin since the age of five. Music and making music are of great importance in the Roma-family’s life. The grandfather discovered the girls’ talent and taught them at first. Today, the two highly gifted sisters attend a music school in Budapest, where they are taught regular subjects, but also receive private lessons on their instruments.
