A young woman’s life in three compartments: TRIPTYCH OF AGATA SCHWARZKOBLER follows Agata, an office worker who seems much like any other, through three routine segments of her day. The mornings at the office, the afternoons off, at night to bed, alone. The three fragments join up to portray a woman torn between her own perception of the (male) environment and, conversely, the way she is viewed by her surroundings. The fragmentary, hypnotic and fascinating film experiment is the late masterpiece of a major Slovenian filmmaker, shot in the film maudit tradition.
